High School football is coming to a screeching hault as numerous teams will be playing for a state title next weekend. One such team is Savannah Christian Prep who takes on Landmark Christian for the state championship in the Georgia Dome.

Standout Defensive Tackle DeAngelo Brown is the anchor for Savannah Christian Prep checking in at 6'1 and 285-pounds.

Brown has offers from Georgia Tech, Louisville, Mississippi State, South Florida and Vanderbilt. Coach Ron Dugan's from Louisville was able to spend some time with the Brown family and DeAngelo talked about it with Scout.com

"It was real nice," DeAngelo Brown said. Coach Dugan's came in and we sat down and talked about everything with my family. Me was able to sit with my mom and dad and answer all our question's. They really like the Louisville family and coach Dugan's, they really enjoyed the visit and so did I. He was telling us even though it's far from home it's all a family up in Louisville and I would be taken care of and things like that and my parents really liked hearing what he had to say."

Brown is focused on the state title game coming up and then will turn his attention to his official visits.

"I am not sure on where I am going to go right now but I know Louisville will be one official visit for sure."
