“Torshiro is a talented athlete whose leadership and teamwork qualities have made him a standout at Woodlawn Leadership Academy,” said John Myers, Director of Strategic Communications, Marketing and Outreach, U.S. Army Accessions Command. “Only the strongest wear the Army colors, and Torshiro possesses similar mental, emotional and physical strengths to Army Strong Soldiers. We are proud to honor all of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl players and congratulate each of them on their selection.”
The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder bolsters an impressive roster for the U.S. Army All-American contest. He is currently rated as the #8 outside linebacker in the country by Scout.com, making him a four-star prospect.
Davis is considering offers from LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma and Texas. He is a verbal commitment to LSU, but will take visits.
Scout Eval: Davis is a real threat to get the to the quarterback off of the edge. He is rated as an outside linebacker, but he could play with his hand in the dirt a lot on the next level. He has a lightning quick first step and fights hard through blocks.
