St. Thomas More senior Matt Flores reported a new offer from the Northwestern State Demons.
Flores starred at quarterback, running back and wide receiver for head coach Jim Hightower and the Cougars. He accounted for more points than any player in St. Thomas More history.
With QB Brandon Bergeron dispensing the football to Flores, RB Jon Juneau, and WR Andrew Stevenson (LSU baseball commit), the Cougars posted an 11-2 mark in 2011 and reached the Class 4A quarterfinals.
Flores caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from Bergeron and added a 3-yard scoring run in St. Thomas More's final playoff game, a 35-31 setback at the hands of preseason No. 1 Edna Karr.
Flores tacked on a two-point conversion run after his second touchdown vs. Karr. He racked up 120 combined yards (receiving and rushing) in that contest.
