Calvary Baptist senior running back Brandon Wilson added an offer from the Northwestern State Demons, according to Calvary coach Clint Hortman and Kenneth Wilson (Brandon's father).
Washington and Grambling State previously extended offers to Wilson, who ran for 1,805 yards on 264 carries with 20 touchdowns. He added 28 catches for 493 yards and six touchdowns for the Cavaliers, who finished the year 11-3.
No. 3 Calvary reached the Class 2A semis before encountering undefeated No. 2 Winnfield.
Wilson went off in week three vs. Teurlings Catholic, gaining 302 yards on 28 carries with three touchdowns. Teurlings eventually reached the Class 4A quarterfinals.
The senior also had a big night against Carencro, which plays for the 5A state championship Saturday night. In that game, Wilson racked up 110 yards rushing and 183 receiving with four touchdowns.
