West Virginia's head coach is concerned about finding enough players to fill the plane to Syracuse…
MS/AL All-Star: Cole Carter
Cole Carter profile "It's been real exciting to see all of the best talent in Mississippi," said Cole. "It's good to come together with some of the best coaches in Mississippi to try and turn this thing around. "Alabama has won this game like the last five years, so hopefully we can get a win." Carter's Caledonia team failed to make the playoffs, so he is eager to get back out on the field and get one more high school win. "A win would mean a lot to me," said Cole. "This is my last high school football game. It would mean a lot to me and to the state for us to get one more win before we get into college." Mississippi State earned Carter's pledge a few months back and as things stand now he plans to see that decision through. "State is my first option," said Cole. "Ole Miss is kind of in a tough spot, so I am not really putting much thought in to them. "Any SEC school is a great opportunity because it's in a powerhouse conference. "I am still pretty solid in my decision. Mississippi State is what I am looking at right now." The chance to get on the practice field with several of the state's top players presents a unique experience. For some the time away from friends and family can be taxing. "I know a lot of people miss their families," said Carter. "I talk to mine every night. "It's a great opportunity to play with and against the same level of talent I am going to see in college."
