English A Dawg
Auburn (Wash.) OL Cory English took his official visit to Washington this weekend and came home a Husky. "Yes sir, I'm a Dawg," said English. English delivered the news directly to coach Sarkisian before he left campus. "I told him in a one on one meeting," said English. "He said welcome to the family and gave me a big hug. Just to see my mom and my aunt and all them crying tears of joy, it was really good." English loved his visit to Montlake, one that was hosted by a familiar face. "Mostly for me it was meeting the other recruits and seeing my family happy. It just felt right, felt like I was a part of the team already," said English. "Danny Shelton, my old teammate, hosted me and everything went good. One of the best weekends." So is it a relief to have the process over? Was the pressure getting tough to deal with? "Yeah, but I the hardest thing was what I just did, telling coach Riley," Said English. "They are going through a lot with a player that passed away. It was just the right time for me, no need to hold it in." Jake Worthen is a West Recruiting Analyst for Scout.com. Follow him on Twitter | Contact him at E-Mail | .
