Friday: CIF State Division I Final: San
Jose Bellarmine vs. Santa Margarita at 8:00 p.m. at the Home Depot Center.
Santa
Margarita has four-star tackle and USC commit Max Tuerk as well as a bunch of
2013 studs, on the offensive line, Riley Sorenson and Erik Bunte and quarterback
Johnny Stanton and they're fresh off a win over San Clemente in the CIF-SS Pac-5
title game. Head coach Harry Welch is looking for his third state title
since 2006, at his third different school, having won the D-I title at Canyons
in 2006 and the small schools title at St. Margarets in 2008. They'll face
Bellarmine Prep, who lost in the D-I title game in 2009 and they're led by a
pair of San Jose State commits Joseph Gigantino and Brad Kuh.
Saturday: CIF State Division III Final: Moraga Campolindo
vs. Fresno Washington Union at 12:00 p.m. at the Home Depot Center
Picked to finish last in their league, Campolindo instead put together an
undefeated season and won the CIF-NCS title to put themselves in the D-III

to ever qualify for the state bowl games, and they feature arguably the most
explosive player in the weekend's contest, Notre Dame commit Deontay Greenberry.
Saturday: CIF State Division II Final: Loomis Del Oro vs. La Mesa Helix at
4:00 p.m. at the Home Depot Center
Del Oro's only loss was to Westlake in the season opener and they've won
out since then and make their first trip to the Home Depot Center. Nevada
commit Alex Bertando leads Del Oro. Helix, the school that produced 49ers
quarterback Alex Smith and Dolphins running back Reggie Bush makes it's initial
visit to Carson as well, and they're led by Cameron Lee and Victor Bowen.
Saturday: CIF State Open Division Final: Concord De La Salle
vs. Westlake at 8:00 p.m. at the Home Depot Center
The only team to appear in all six state bowl games since 2006, De La Salle
is the two time defending Open Division champion, and looks to make it three in
a row and four in the last six years. The Spartans are led by Wisconsin
commit Bart Houston, who's only lost one game as a starter and is poised to be
the first quarterback in the bowl game history to have won three straight state
titles. Defensively, four-star linebacker Michael Barton, a Cal commit,
and California's top prospect for 2013, five-star linebacker Michael Hutchings,
lead the Spartans. The Warriors are the first CIF-SS Northern Division
team to be in the Open Division final and they're led by do-everything 2013 stud
Dashon Hunt and 2013 quarterback Justin Moore, as well as Colorado commits
Justin Solis and Johnny Stuart up front.
