Deontay Greenberry and his Washington Union team were the first Central Section team ever invited to participate in California's BCS-like state bowl system.
Campolindo made an effort to limit Greenberry's involvement, rolling a safety over the top of his coverage beginning the with first snap.
While Greenberry's touches were limited, his big plays were not. Greenberry caught the first touchdown of the game in the first quarter, recovered a fumble, intercepted a pass, and recovered the onside kick that preserved the 21-16 win. Call him a quadruple threat for Washington Union.
