Solon (OH) center Austin Stock was a leader on one of Ohio's finest teams the past few seasons, and the 6-foot-3, 265-pound, lineman has made his college selection.
"I will be attending Columbia University in the fall, and I have verbally committed," Stock stated. "I was honored to play with some great teammates at Solon, and I never dreamed I would have had these great universities recruit me. It's been a great three year run."
"We went 34-4 over the past three seasons, which is a credit to our coaching staff, led by head coach Jim McQuaide," he added. "I am looking forward to playing at the next level, and ready to help the Columbia University Lions become a winning program."
Stock held an offer from Air Force, and also interest from Bucknell, Lehigh, Colgate and Cornell.
