Oregon State Offers Brice
Louisiana Tech has commitments from a pair of hometown defensive backs - Kentrell Brice and Cyril Noland - but other programs hope to sway the duo elsewhere. Oregon State offered Noland in early November the Beavers followed up with Brice last week. "I got the offer Thursday or Friday," said Brice. "They were waiting on the head coach to give them the go-ahead with the offer, and he did." Nebraska and Missouri were both in the running to get an official visit over the weekend from Brice, but he decided to stay home. "I couldn't make it but I might reschedule," he said. Brice keeps a positive focus in regard to his recruitment. "I'm blessed and thank God that so many schools want me," he said. "I'm thankful. I played as hard as I could this year to help my team." Brice said he hasn't heard from the Louisiana Tech staff recently. He and Noland led Ruston to the Class 5A quarterfinals. The Bearcats defeated Denham Springs and Central in the first two rounds of the postseason.
