Colorado Lands Rasmussen
Honolulu (Haw.) Kamehameha defensive tackle Kory Rasmussen has made his college decision. "Yeah, I committed to Colorado," said Rasmussen. "After I came back from Utah I decided I was most comfortable there." So what made Colorado so comfortable, the coaches? The players? "It was just everything," said Rasmussen. "The coaches, the players and everything there... Even how we communicated throughout the process." Rasmussen wasted little time in making his decision once he landed back in Hawaii. "When I got off the plane my parents and I talked about it in the car," said Rasmussen. "By the time we got home we decided to call coach Embree. He asked me if I was ready, and I said I was ready." Rasmussen is thrilled with his final decision and is more than happy to be done with the process. "Oh yeah, it's a big relief," said Rasmussen. "Especially going into holidays, I can spend time with family and just relax." Rasmussen doesn't play any other sports in high school and will be turning his focus on to getting ready for Boulder next fall. "I am just going to be training," said Rasmussen. "Football is year round for me." Jake Worthen is a West Recruiting Analyst for Scout.com. Follow him on Twitter | Contact him at E-Mail | .
