Kass Everett (5'10/180) is a 4-Star junior college cornerback by Scout.com, and he exemplifies how hard it is for players to make decisions when being pulled in different directions by very gifted recruiters at some of the nation's top programs.
Before his press conference this morning, Everett had gotten a last phone call from Texas Tech emphasizing their need for a player of his skill.
At his press conference , Everett admitted that he had changed his mind overnight. When he announced that he was going to be a Red Raider, it was a surprise to the Oklahoma coaches who thought Everett would be signing with them. One last call to Everett by Oklahoma before the Letter of Intent had been signed made Everett reconsider his previous reconsidering.
Coach Efrain Martinez confirmed at roughly 4:00 PST that Oklahoma had received Everett's signed Letter of Intent.
This one finally looks to be done as Everett will be joining Oklahoma after the Christmas Break.
