LATHAM, Md. -- P.J. Gallo made his official visit to Maryland earlier this month, and the Terps' tight end commit is in the area again this week and is playing in Friday's Chesapeake Bowl. Part of the trip, though, is based on talking to other prospects and trying to get them to join him in College Park.

LATHAM, Md. -- P.J. Gallo is more than a blocking tight end, although he didn't have much chance to prove it in Council Rock South High's (Holland, Pa.) run-first offense.

Gallo, who is committed to Maryland, made nine catches for 135 yards in helping Council Rock South to a 12-2 mark, and he is planning to be more active in the passing game when he arrives in College Park, Md.

Friday, he will play his last high school game as he competes in the Chesapeake Bowl, and he went 1-on-1 with to talk about it.
