UA Preview: Ohio State Prospects
Ohio State will have several recruiting targets in Orlando this week for the Under Armour festivities. Players will begin practice on Sunday, and Saturday will showcase the top underclassmen in the Junior Combine. Who will be participating in Orlando this week that will interest Buckeye fans? Scout.com takes a look. Noah Spence: Ohio State's five-star defensive end commit, and the highest rated defensive end in America. Spence will be going up against a formidable offensive line group all week. Ifeadi Odenigbo: One of Ohio's top-rated players, and a prospect that would fill a huge need for the Buckeyes. Odenigbo seems to be favoring others, including Stanford and Notre Dame, but has not eliminated Ohio State. Davonte' Neal: It's no secret Urban Meyer is looking to add speed on offense, and Neal fits that order perfectly. He will visit Ohio State in mid-January. Joey O'Connor: Meyer is also looking to bolster his offensive line, and while O'Connor has not been offered to date, he will be visiting Ohio State in mid-January. JUNIOR COMBINE PERFORMERS: Darian Hicks: The Solon cornerback had an outstanding summer camp at Ohio State. Kyle Kempt: The Massillon signal caller holds three BCS offers to date. Shaq Wiggins: The Georgia high school star was offered by Ohio State following a stellar camp performance. Shelton Gibson: Urban Meyer's first offer as Ohio State's head coach, and possibly the top wide receiver prospect in Ohio for 2013. Ross Douglas: The Avon star holds four BCS offers, and is certainly in the mix for an Ohio State offer. Kevin Gladney: Holds a Michigan offer, and the Akron Firestone wide receiver is coming off a fine junior season. Adam Lane: The Florida runningback received his first offer recently, and it was from Meyer and the Buckeyes. Stay with Scout.com all week, as we will have daily updates on all the Ohio State prospects.
