Center Matt Cochran is one of the top uncommitted prospects left in the West. This week, he's participating in the inaugural Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl, and during halftime of the game, he will be announcing his decision. The finalists? California and Tennessee.
California has a presence at this game, as five of the players participating are future Bears. "They've been trying to recruit me for a long time."
Has that affected his decision at all? "When you're around somebody so much, you start to think about it a lot more, but I've still got Tennessee on my mind. It's going to be a hard decision, but I'm sure ill make the right one."
Cochran took his official visit to Cal during their big recruiting weekend in December, but also enjoyed his visit to Tennessee. "I really liked the players and the coaches. I don't know, I just felt like I got well connected there when I was there. I'm still talking to some of the players from when I was out there on my visit, mainly the o-line. Antonio Richardson, an All-American tackle and Mack Crowder, a center. That was the main group I was talking to."
