Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.) safety Elijah Shumate was going to make two more official visits in January, but after giving consideration he with eschew them.
Instead, the four-star safety will announce his selection during Saturday's U.S. Army All-American Bowl, according to his father, Maurice Williams.
Williams told Scout.com that his son, who is the fifth-rated safety in the 2012 class, will chose from South Carolina, Rutgers and Notre Dame.
Shumate visited South Carolina the weekend of Nov. 11, and made official visits to Rutgers (Dec. 9) and Notre Dame (Dec. 16) last month.
He was talking about making visits to Georgia Tech and Michigan State, but has elected to end his recruitment with Saturday's announcement.
