Several schools have stopped by Orangeburg-Wilkinson (SC) to watch several players with their practices, and none are bigger than offensive lineman Brandon Middleton.
"We just finished our spring practice, and a couple of schools stopped by," says the 6-foot-6, 335 pounder, who has a team in the lead. "Right now, I am starting to really like North Carolina. I got a lot of mail the last month, like 20 letters and some hand-written, and I am going with (teammate Alonzo Middleton) to their camp."
North Carolina is not the only team on Middleton's radar as several schools are taking a long look at the big man this summer and fall.
"Georgia stopped by, and they were my original favorite. South Carolina definitely is a possibility, Tennessee, and probably Maryland.
"A lot of teams say they will evaluate me more, and coming to camp is a big thing. They want to see how I ineract with their coaches and see how I move on the field."
Middleton is unsure of which camps he will attend at the moment.
