"They are both looking for a kicker. Iowa State has already offered a guy, so I am not sure what is going to happen with him.
"I know how things go with kickers. We are the last ones to really get looked at.
"I am trying to be patient with everything and just sending out my film to several schools."
Stephen made the rounds this summer in an effort to gain some instruction and some face time with college scouts.
Right now, Brauchle is keeping his kicking leg in shape by putting in some time on the pitch with the Gulfport Admirals' soccer team.
"We are trying to win a state championship," said Stephen. "We have made it to the south state championship like the last three years and we want to win a championship.
"Our soccer program has been like the best sports team we have at our school."
With a chance to win a ring on the line, Brauchle is working hard to do his part.
"I scored a goal against Diberville," said Stephen. "I feel like I am playing pretty well.
"We are just trying to play well as a team, so we can make it to state."
