Glastonbury (Conn.) High’s Bobby Solecki doesn’t get tons of exposure because of where he plays, but he is hoping distribution of his highlight tape gives him more options.
The senior punter/placekicker is hearing from Stony Brook and Central Connecticut State, and is in the process of contact other schools as next month’s signing day approaches.
“Those two are the main schools I’m interested in,” Solecki said. “Stony Brook told me that they could see me punting at their school. I worked a lot on punting the last year.”
Solecki averaged 40 yards per punt, and had a long of 82 yards, as a senior. He also made 5 of 7 field goal attempts and had six touchbacks on 50 attempts.
“I’m a little frustrated,” Solecki said. “I look around and see a lot of kids getting signed and I want to get signed. I want to know where I’m going sooner rather than later.”
