USAAAB: Seymour Is a Trojan

The USC Trojans received a commitment from Pasadena (CA) Muir defensive back Kevon Seymour at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday.

Pasadena (CA) Muir defensive back Kevon Seymour has been one of the most sought after players on the West Coast, with offers from some of the top programs in the country, and one Saturday he announced his plans to stay close to home and play for the USC Trojans.

The talented defensive back announced his commitment live on television during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday.

Seymour said his connection with the coaching staff, chance to play in front of friends and family and USC's strong tradition were big factors in his decision.

"I got a good connection with the whole coaching staff and I know what I will get out of the USC coaches," Seymour said. "I will develop and become a better player."
