SAN ANTONIO - Deon Bush decided to choose the school closest to home when he committed to the University of Miami.

"Miami is a program that is rebuilding, they are close to home, and I think I can make a big impact there. I made my decision last week and Miami is the school for me," Deon Bush told Scout.

Bush is a 6-foot-1, 185 pound defensive back out of Miami (FL) Christopher Columbus and he chose Miami over Alabama and Auburn.

Scout's Take: Bush is an elite athlete with top speed. He can cover a lot of ground in the secondary and he will likely be used as a free-safety on the next level. He still needs to add some weight and become a more solid tackler. He has good length also.
