Las Vegas (Nev.) High quarterback Hasaan Henderson has chosen to play college football in Reno.
“I made my decision and I am going to commit to Nevada,” Henderson told Scout.com.
The dual-threat quarterback was impressed with UNR on a recent visit and is looking forward to being part of the Wolf Pack.
“I liked the way everything was organized at their walk through practice and pre-game,” he recalls. “They showed me a lot of history of winning, which is important to me. They hate to lose, which tells me they are winners.”
“They have that style of play that I love; hard-nosed, fast, strong, smart football. They win and they never quit. They believe in the fourth quarter and have great coaches that have shown me a lot of love and respect. They also have what I’m looking for academically in a school.”
Henderson was named 1st team all-conference as a senior after he threw for 1,484 yards and 18 touchdowns and rushed for 684 yards and 8 more scores.
