Two Trips Set for Raulerson

Two Trips Set for Raulerson

With nearly 25 offers in hand, 4-star Texas lineman Jake Raulerson will visit two this month.

The 6-foot-5, 250-pound offensive and defensive lineman out of Celina, Texas will be tripping to Stanford University and the University of Texas this month.

First stop: Palo Alto this weekend, where Raulerson will be the only 2013 prospect in attendance among the 2012 Cardinal commits and targets.

"It's actually the 2012 recruit weekend, huge deal," said Raulerson. "I'm just a special guest, I guess."

It being his first time to Stanford, he noted, "I heard it's a gorgeous campus. I'm looking forward to seeing that and all they have to offer. It's kind of a once in a lifetime thing, so I'm looking forward to seeing everything. I'm very pumped for the weekend."

Speaking of 'special guest', Raulerson will be just that again on his trip to Austin Jan. 27, as Longhorns host him the weekend before their first junior day.

And while Raulerson is very familiar with Texas, having been to the campus multiple times, he said he is still just as excited for this visit as he was his first one.
