Defensive Line
This is looking to be a Texas A&M heavy event. Christian Lacouture, 6-foot-5, 255-pounder from A&M Consolidated is a big, powerful early verbal commitment and will be one to keep a close eye on. Vincent Taylor, a 6-foot-3, 250-pounder from SA Madison has already been invited to the first Texas Jr. Day and is considered as one of the best in the state. Deon Hollins Jr. from Ft. Bend Marshall has been knoen to terrorize these types of camps and is a BCS caliber athlete.

Linebacker
When looking at the offer sheets Paul Whitmill's name is one that really jumps out. The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder from Bastrop High is already listing verbals from schools like Baylor, TCU and Wake Forest. Also keep an eye on Waco Midway's Chrishard Buhl and Pflugerville Connally's Darrell Songy.

Cibolo Steel marched to the state championship behind the defense of safeties Erik Huhn, a 6-foot-3, 200-pounder and Jordan Sterns, a 6-foot-1, 190-pounder. Not to be outdone East Central in San Antonio is sending three talents in Austin Jupe, Matt Coleman and Chris Armstrong. West Orange-Star uses Colin Janice in a number of ways, but the 5-foot9, 165-pounder projects as a corner or safety in college. Bastrop High's Antwuan Davis has great size at 6-foot-1, 175. He stood out at the NUC one year ago.
