Camp Hill (Pa.) Cedar Cliff junior tight end Adam Breneman
recently added three new verbal scholarship offers to his growing offer sheet. Thew newest additions are North Carolina
Sal Sunseri wasted very little time after his hiring at Tennessee, making sure he reached out to the top tight end prospect.
"I had a good relationship with Coach (Sal) Sunseri when he was with Alabama," Breneman said. "When he got hired he contacted me on Facebook and I called him and spoke with Head Coach Derek Dooley. Coach Dooley said he really likes to feature the tight end in their offense and he wanted to make sure I knew that I had an offer from them. he told me I am the type of tight that they want."
North Carolina endured a coaching change, but new Head Coach Larry Fedora wanted to make sure Breneman knew where he stood with the Tar Heels.
"I spoke with tight ends coach (Walt) Bell and head coach (Larry) Fedora on the phone," stated Breneman. "I really liked what they had to say about how they use the tight end in their offense. I like how they are going to throw the ball around and I am definitely interested in them."
Breneman admittedly doesn't know a lot about the Commodores.
"I talked with the tight end coach (Charlie Bankins) and he offered me," Breneman explained. "I know Vanderbilt is a very good academic school, but I don't know a whole lot about their football program."
Breneman is now preparing to hit a few junior day events and then a summer tour of various programs.
"I'm going to Maryland on February 4, to go meet their new offensive coordinator Mike Locksley," he said. "Penn State wants me to come up shortly after signing day. This March, April and May I want to go out and see some of the schools that may be a little further away like Ohio State, North Carolina, Miami, Tennessee, Michigan and some others, but I'm not sure of which ones or the dates just yet."
There aren't a whole lot of offers left for Adam Breneman to get, he seems to add new ones every other day. He recently added three more to his collection.
