Jones To Visit New Offerer

Jones To Visit New Offerer

Another offer in the bag, and a few junior day visits penciled in for Lone Star State star receiver Quan Jones.

Since his outings at both of the nation's top combines- the Under Armour Combine in Orlando and U.S. Army All-American Combine in San Antonio- Quan Jones has turned plenty of heads this month.

Or shall I say, more heads, as the Wylie (TX) East product began receiving attention (and offers) from top programs as a sophomore.

Arizona was the first to jump on board, followed by Tennessee, Baylor, and most recently Mississippi State and Purdue.

Jones was excited to report the latter two. In fact, he has decided Purdue is one of three junior days he would like to hit this spring.

"OU, Purdue, and Baylor are the ones I'm going to so far," said Jones, who along with teammate Marcell Ateman, has been receiving lots of love from the Sooners staff and could be adding an offer from them very soon.

(Note: exact dates for trips are TBD.)

In his junior campaign, Jones took 41 catches for 420 yards and 4 scores. The athletic, long-armed 6'4 195-pounder is now hooping for Wylie East, averaging a team-leading 15 points per game.
