Spring Valley (Calif.) Steele Canyon offensive lineman Mario Yakoo committed to UCLA back in June but has now opened his recruitment back up and the Bruins are no longer an option.
"I opened up my commitment because I had some problems with admissions," said Yakoo. "So I'm getting the word out that I am looking at other schools."
Yakoo said he and UCLA have mutually parted ways.
"UCLA is definitely out now for me and at this point, Boise State and Nevada are the most interested but I'm expecting a few more calls from coaches in a few days," said Yakoo.
Yakoo's teammate, Chanceller James, is a commit to Boise State, and Yakoo said he's trying to set up an official visit there for this coming weekend.
