"Lamar hosted me," said Dural of former teammate Lamar Louis, the ex-Breaux Bridge linebacker.
Louis began classes at LSU this month as an early enrollee. Dural and Louis led Breaux Bridge to the Class 4A semifinals in December.
"The visit went great," said Dural. "I had a good time. Coach (Les) Miles told me, basically, that the only way I'm not going to see the field as a freshman is if I don't do what I'm supposed to do. It will only be if I mess myself up."
Dural said two visitors made an instant impression.
"Mario Edwards was real cool," he said of the five-star defensive lineman from Texas. "I didn't really talk to Mario about where's going to sign, but Jeremy (Liggins) said he's most likely going to sign with LSU."
Dural and Liggins -- the jumbo-sized QB from Mississippi -- were already well-acquainted with each other, having played on the same 7-on-7 team under coach Jimmy Smith.
"There's no chance I'm going elsewhere," said Dural, when asked how firm his commitment is to LSU.
