The South state rankings are dominated in several states by five-star
prospects, especially the Florida Top 100,
where the region's #1-ranked prospect, John Theus, stands atop the list, just as
he did at the beginning of the year.The state of Georgia boasts one of the
premier pass-rushers in the country in Jordan Jenkins, a five-star defensive
end, and he ends the year at the top of the
Georgia Top 75
in the 2012 class.
The Louisiana Top
40 is topped by safety Landon Collins, ranked second nationally, and holding
on to the top spot after being their in the preseason.
The Alabama Top 40
has three five-stars and has a new number one with linebacker Reggie Ragland
taking over the top spot.
North Carolina currently has a new number one as well in the final North Carolina Top
30, offensive tackle D.J. Humphries.
This year, the South Carolina Top 30
is still led by five-star receiver Shaq Roland.
The Tennessee Top 25
has a new man at the top in Memphis commit Sheldon Dawson.
The Mississippi Top
30 is still topped by Quay Evans.
The Arkansas Top
10 concludes with four-star receiver Jalen Cobb on top.
