Jayhawks conduct in-home with FL 'backer
Schyler Miles
Posted Jan 25, 2012

On the heels of a weekend official visit to the University of Kansas, Tampa (FL) Berkeley Prep linebacker Schyler Miles hosted a pair of Kansas staffers today on an in-home visit.

Jayhawks defensive coordinator Dave Campo and linebackers coach DeMontie Cross made the trip to the Sunshine State for the afternoon in-home.

Miles, who is also considering offers from the likes of Florida and West Virginia, informed Scout.com he would not conduct further interviews until after his decision is made public next week on National Signing Day. In a brief exchange of messages, however, he did say the in-home with Kansas went well.

A 6-foot-1, 225-pound terror in the middle with impressive speed and strength, Miles racked up 123 total tackles in 2011 - including 63 solos and four sacks - as a senior with the Tampa (FL) Berkeley Prep Buccaneers.
