Successful Trip

The 6' 1", 295-pound defensive tackle out of Madison Central, Miss., took in an official visit to N' Western State, LA., over the weekend and liked what he saw.

"I had a great time down there," added Maurice Bennett. "The coaches and players were so cool, and they have like a farm on campus and I want to be a vet."

What were some of the things he learned about N' Western State while on the trip?

"I learned how many defensive tackles they have on campus right now. There are not that many so I have a good chance to play early if I go down there."

Where will Maurice visit next?

"I do not know yet. I am trying to figure that out. I am still talking to La Tech, Marshall, Jacksonville State, Arkansas State, and Jackson State. I am undecided at the present time but I will know something by Friday."
