QB Plays The Waiting Game

York (Pa.) Suburban quarterback Nick Skeparnias still doesn't have a scholarship offer but he hopes that a strong showing on this summer's camp circuit will change that.

“Rutgers, Temple, Pittsburgh, Duke, Kansas, Maryland, Penn State, Akron, Indiana, Kentucky and Northwestern all called during May,” said quarterback Nick Skeparnias.

“I still don’t have any offers. Temple, Rutgers, Pittsburgh, Duke and Maryland are my favorites.

“I’m going to be camping this summer at Duke, Vanderbilt, Cincinnati, Akron, Pittsburgh, Maryland, Hofstra and Rutgers. I also have a team 7 on 7 in June. I’ll most of these camps done by July.”

Skeparnias, a 6-foot-2, 195-pounder, from York (Pa.) Suburban threw for 2,132 yards and 21 touchdowns as a junior.
