First Offer for JC Center

Glendale (Az.) Community College OL Steven Gurrola gets WAC offer

Signing day for the 2012 class was just a few days ago but recruiting is never ending.

Scout.com has confirmed that junior college center Steven Gurrola from Glendale (Az) CC has received the first, of what looks to be many, scholarship offer.

The 6-2 285 pounder says, "Utah State offered me today. Kansas is also looking at me."

Gurrola was named 2nd team All-ACCAC last year as a center.

Gurrola graduates from Glendale in Spring of 2013. He will have three years to play two at the next level. He prepped at Phoenix (Az.) Washington HS.
