One of the top 2013 linebacker prospects in the Midwest is Indianapolis Warren Central's Tim Kimbrough. The 6-foot-1, 215-pound, athlete has already put together an impressive offer list and he is in the midst of taking unofficial visits, including Sunday at Ohio State.
"Ohio State was great and I had a really good time," Kimbrough stated Sunday afternoon. "I'm glad I got to meet with Coach (Luke) Fickell and Coach (Urban) Meyer. They are both great guys and we had a lot of fun getting to know each other. The was my first time meeting Coach Meyer, and I'm hopeful of getting to know him better."
"Coach Fickell said to just be patient and they want to build a relationship with me before they offer," he added. "I think they will be offering soon from the way they were talking, and I'm hoping they do. I have to say Ohio State would be my top school right now, at the top of my list. I will be back for spring practice and I will be calling Coach Fickell often."
Kimbrough holds seven total offers, including Penn State, Indiana, Iowa and North Carolina, among others. He is also planning other unofficial visits.
"I'm planning on getting out to Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Michigan State," he explained. "Michigan is telling me they are very interested and I'm interested in them. I also like Tennessee and North Carolina a lot, and I'm in touch with both schools. I'm still interested in any school that's interested in me right now."
