Five of the 10 top players in the state of Alabama have already announced their college decision. …
Dee Liner just laughs when asked about rumors circulating that he's not solidly committed to Auburn. "Let them talk. They can say what they want. I'm one hundred and ten percent to Auburn. One hundred and ten percent." Liner says he keeps a good line of communication going with Auburn coaches. In fact, he had just spoken to coach Chizik before this interview was conducted. "Actually I just got off the phone with coach Chiz (Chizik). He was telling me I should come visit on Saturday. I think I will go if I can. I want to get there and talk to him more. We have a great relationship." Recently, Liner picked up offers from Ole Miss, Mississippi State, USC and Tennessee. He says one offer sticks out as a school he's more excited about than the others. "Tennessee was the one I was most happy about in the ones I got recently. I always watched Tennessee and followed their program. I liked it. I'll probably visit." Liner plans to take a few visits. Another will be to Los Angeles to see Southern Cal, he says. "I always wanted to go out there and just check it out. I will try to take an official out there to USC. I haven't really talked to coach Kiffin that much but I did talk to him once. He seems like a good guy." Liner says he doesn't know much about Ole Miss and Mississippi State but he wants to learn more and may visit schools in Mississippi.
