Plenty of offers have come to Houston (TX) Cy Falls wide receiver Jacorey Warrick. But all it took was the one from Texas this past weekend for him to make his choice.
“I just committed to Texas an hour ago,” Warrick said. “My phone has been blowing up, but I have not taken the calls yet. We wanted to let you guys know.”
Texas Tech, LSU, Oklahoma and Nebraska are just a few of the offers for the 5-foot-10, 170-pound Warrick.
“We kind of thought about it after the offer came in. My parents felt good about it, the Texas coaches felt good about it, so I deiced that this is the best place for me,” Warrick said. “I like the school and the fact that I can get the chance to play early too.”
Warrick, who caught 40 passes for over 800 yards and 11 touchdowns, said that he is being recruited to play wide receiver for the Longhorns.
