Ben Johnson, tight end from Basehor-Linwood, Kansas, was impressed with the Jayhawks on Junior Day. The coaching staff was equally impressed and extended an offer

Ben Johnson committed to Kansas in late February to become a member of the class of 2013.

Other schools showing interest include Arkansas, Kansas State, Missouri and Oklahoma State.

Johnson had an impressive junior campaign with 56 receptions for 954 yards and 12 touchdowns.
