2013 is looking to be an outstanding class for the Commonwealth state. It’s easy to see why, when you recognize that Kentucky is fairly well represented in Scout.com’s Top 300.
Kyle Bolin comes in at 199. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound quarterback is listed as the 17th best quarterback in the country. The Lexington native is committed to the University of Louisville.
Also committed to Louisville is the number 173 prospect in that nation: Ryan White. White is rated as the 13th best corner prospect in the nation. He also doubles as a dominant punt returner.
Only six spots ahead is Owensboro Apollo High tackle Hunter Bivin. The 6-foot-7, 290-pound junior is quickly becoming one of the midwest’s most highly recruited players. Bivin is rated as the 16th best offensive tackle in the country.
Trinity High school continues to be well represented on this list with Jason Hatcher. Hatcher is the 37th rated player in the nation and the 3rd rated defensive end. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound junior has offers from all over the country and every BCS conference.
The top player in Kentucky comes as no surprise to those who follow Kentucky sports. James Quick is the third rated receiver in the country.
