Introducing: Kentayvus Hopkins
After rushing for nearly 3000 yards and 38 touchdowns, Kentayvus Hopkins returns for his senior year as one of the top backs in the state of Kentucky. Kentayvus, 5-foot-11, 190-pounds, has a good build as well as the necessary break-away speed to play running back at the next level. But he's got other assets as well. "My vision (is my strength)," said Hopkins. "And I read defenses quickly. I'm not only a quick back, but I can give a good hit too," he said. Hopkins helped Bourbon County to an 8-4 record while rushing for more than ten yards per carry last year. And he felt pretty good about his junior season. "I feel like I played good. I think that each game, I brought a little more intensity," he continued. Western Kentucky gave Hopkins a scholarship offer recently and he talked a little about the Hilltoppers. "Western is a really good school. They have their program going in the right direction," he finished. Scout.com will continue to monitor Kentayvus Hopkins.
