It's safe to say that Allen (TX) offensive lineman Brad North is pretty confident that his first scholarship offer is coming soon. Whether it is because he had a solid junior season or the fact that he was named the MVP at the Nike Football Training Camp in Dallas for the offensive lineman, he looks forward to getting that good news call.
Could it be coming soon?
"I talked with the coaches at Northwestern. The coaches got my film and said they were impressed," North said. "If there was a school that I think would be the first to offer it would be them."
And the 6-foot-3, 275-pound North would gladly accept, as he is open to in the recruiting process right now. At the camp, North showed great footwork and was successful in drills against some of the most talented players in the state and region.
As for recruiting, he said that Oklahoma State, a school he visited for junior day, Wake Forest, Virginia, Iowa State and Texas Tech have all made some contact and are actively pursuing him.
