San Marcos (Calif.) Mission Hills cornerback Devin Holiday recently received his first offer from Hawaii and he is seriously considering the program.
“I’m feeling good now that I have the first offer. I really like the coaches at Hawaii and I want to visit and see how the campus is out there. I’m just not sure when yet,” he said.
Holiday recently attended Arizona State’s Junior Day and though he has no more visits currently planned, there are a few other programs he’s interested in.
“I like Colorado, California, Arizona, and Arizona State. I’ve been to Colorado and I just love it. When I’m in Arizona, I feel like I’m at home; I have family out there, too. I like Cal for the education,” he said.
Holiday played in the New Level Athletics Elite 7on7 Tournament in Las Vegas this past weekend as part of B2G Scorch and was out to showcase his talent.
“I’m faster than I look. I want to prove that I can run with anybody out here and that my man coverage is nice. I feel like I have a chip on my shoulder but at the same time, I go out there and have fun. I just go out there and do what I do,” he said.
