Bailey Talks Buckeyes
Bolingbrook High (Ill.) dual-threat quarterback Aaron Bailey made the trip to Ohio State Saturday, and came away impressed. "It was a lot of fun," Bailey said. "I went for a junior day last time. But there are so many other kids there that it was hard to get a good perspective." This time was much more individualized for Bailey and his family. "We went to a practice and the practice was very high intensity," Bailey said. "It reminded me of our practices at Bolingbrook." He added, "I liked the practice," Bailey said. "It was the first time they were in full pads." That type of intensity in practice, is something that Bailey thrives on. "There were a lot of guys hitting hard and I liked the intensity and I like how they were always competing," Bailey said. "The offensive and the defense were all competing, and that keeps you working hard." But that's not all Bailey liked. "Plus I got to see how the coaches coach," Bailey said. "And I sat through the quarterback meeting, then I talked to Coach Urban Meyer and talked to Coach Mike Vrabel." A meeting where the four-star quarterback learned quite a bit. "I learned some of the signals and got to break down defense from the previous practices," Bailey said. "I liked how Coach Herman was breaking down the plays and stuff to everyone else including me." And this isn't the last time that Bailey will be visiting Ohio State. "I am going to go up for one of their one day camps," Bailey said. "Coach Meyer wants to see me throw in person."
