Smith Gets Dream Offer

FOX Sports Next is in the streets bringing you all of the coverage. We caught up with Dulles athlete Maurice Smith to see what is going on. He just received the news he has been waiting on for some time.

Sometimes when you want for something, it actually comes.

That is the case with Sugar Land (TX) Dulles defensive back Maurice Smith. Recently he heard some news that he had been looking for.

“Just and update: Me and Antwuan Davis have been offered but UT (Texas),” Smith informed Fox Sports Next.

Now the 6-foot-1, 180-pound Smith has the offer that he said in a recent interview was his “dream school.”

Smith has made several trips this off season, including Texas, Nebraska and LSU to name a few. Last season, Smith had 63 tackles and three interceptions. Offensively, he scored 13 touchdowns last season.
