Profile: Justin Manning
High School: Dallas Kimball (TX)
Class: 2013
Position: DT
Jersey: #55
Size: 6'2/275

Recruiting: Has one of the most extensive offer lists in the country. Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M and LSU are considered to be the front-runners by many.

2011 Stats and Honors: As a junior, Manning missed four games due to injury, but still earned All-District honors after racking up 43 tackles, seven sacks, three forced fumbles and 18 tackles for a loss.

FSNext Breakdown: “A muscular and well-built defensive lineman. He looks more like a NFL middle linebacker than an interior lineman. He has a thick and muscular lower body. He is not the 300 pound mammoth, but is plenty strong and athletic. He is extremely quick off the ball and that allows him to make an abundance of plays behind the line of scrimmage. He will flat out get after the quarterback and has the agility and foot speed that allows him to close in on ball carriers in the open field. He is a legit pass rushing threat.” – Greg Powers
