Pelluer lands fourth offer

It was just over 12 hours from watching his teammate Max Browne verbally commit to USC, but Peyton Pelluer was able to celebrate a little good news of his own. The 6-foot-2, 225-pound linebacker from Skyline High School in Sammamish, Wash. learned about his fourth offer while in class Thursday morning, and it was a big one.
"I'm just excited," he told Scout.com about his offer from
. Pelluer just got done working out with the Spartan football team and was getting ready for a lacrosse game but he was able to confirm his newest offer from the Sun Devils.
"I was in math class and I got a text from (Skyline Head) coach (Mat) Taylor saying that ASU was offering me and I'm supposed to call the coaches down there," Pelluer said. "I was really excited. It was different than the other offers…just Arizona State in general, it wasn't better or worse, but definitely a different feeling. But I'm still thankful for everything and I'm excited to go down and visit them in the near future."

Pelluer confirmed that he's still getting lots of letters from OSU, WSU and Colorado. "I'm still gonna try to get to Boulder soon; I'm definitely going to Wazzu in the next week or two just to watch practice," he said. "And then obviously I'm going to try and get down to ASU."
