Offer number 16 for four-star LB Chans Cox from Lakeside Blue Ridge High in Az.

Four-star MLB Chans Cox from Lakeside (Ariz.) Blue Ridge High School has confirmed with Scout.com that he has received a new offer, bringing him to 16 overall.

Cox (6-3 230) says, "USC offered me just now."

Cox also has offers from Cal, Washington State, Utah, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Arkansas, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Colorado, Washington, Oregon State, Boise State, Duke, Arizona State and Arizona.

Cox is being recruited on both sides of the ball. As a junior he rushed for 682 yards and 13 TDs. He also made 61 tackles in an all-state effort as a middle linebacker.
