2013 Intro: Grant Lingafelter

6-foot-5, 255 pound junior Grant Lingafelter already holds three offers with more on the way. Check out what the offensive tackle has to say about his schools and where he'll be heading this spring.

Chagrin Falls (OH) junior Grant Lingafelter is popping up onto the recruiting scene. So far, the offensive tackle has picked up three offers and has recently visited all of his prospects.

Ball State: "I just visited them and was very surprised with the campus. It was awesome! They have a great coaching staff with lots of new coaches. They had a great weight room and great facilities. You could really tell that the player comes first. It could be a great fit for me."

Akron: "The offer came out of the blue. I heard from them through the mail mostly. Then one day I called them and they offered me. I went to one of their practices last week. I like that it's close to home. They're an up and coming program with a new coaching staff. The coaches all are coming from good backgrounds."

Toledo: "That was the first school I visited. They also have a new coaching staff. Coach Campbell is incredible and young. They're coming from a winning season. I have a lot of interest in them and think very highly of them."

The junior has a busy spring ahead of him as he and his family plan on visiting schools all across the country.

"I'm going to West Virginia in a few weeks. After that I'm heading to Ohio, Miami (OH), Ohio State, North Carolina, North Carolina State, South Carolina, Northwestern, Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State and Syracuse."

With so many possibilities on the horizon, don't look for a decision from Lingafelter anytime soon.

"I don't have a timetable; I want to take my time. There are lots of schools to go see and programs to meet with. "

But when he is ready to commit, he knows what will be some of the most important factors for him.

"Academics definitely come first, and I really mean that. I would also like to stay close to home. I'd like to go somewhere with a winning program but I'm not going to sign with a school just for its name."
