Adidas Swag 7v7: Ricky Rogers

CANONSBURG, Pa. -- Keystone Oaks is known as a running team that succeeds by playing smash mouth football, but Ricky Rogers presence is slowly changing that.

Dormont (Pa.) Keystone Oaks sophomore wide receiver Ricky Rogers looks like he could be playing college football already. WPIAL defenses will have the unfortunate task of trying to stop the 6-foot-2, 185-pound athlete the next two seasons.

Rogers was lined up with some of the best receivers in the state such as Robert Foster, Tyler Boyd, Zach Challingsworth and DuBois Ross at the Adidas Swag 7on7 tryouts and he did not look out of place.

Although he is still raw and has some work to do to become as consistent pass catching threat, there is no doubting his natural ability. With his frame it wouldn't be shocking to see Rogers grow into a dominant defensive player either.
