"Height- 6'0, Weight- 186."
What is your greatest football memory?
"Upsetting Brophy 32-29 in second round of playoffs."
What are your goals for the upcoming season?
"My goals for the upcoming season are to rush for 2,000 yards, get first team all state, and for my team to win a state championship."
How are you preparing for the upcoming season? Will you attend any camps this summer?
"I'm preparing for the upcoming season by hitting the weight room and doing other sports like skateboarding to help me with my footwork and reflexes. I will be attending some college college camps over the summer, and a few combines to test myself against good competitors."
What aspect of your game have you really worked hard to improve? What area would you like to keep improving on?
"I have really worked hard on my speed and hands I like to catch the ball out of the backfield and play the slot position, I plan on working more on defense during the off season."
Who are some of your teammates that people need to watch out for?
"One of my teammates that people really need to look forward to watch is manny figueroa he has great hands and speed."
Name one teammate you really respect and why?
"I really respect my teammate Manny, he is always helping and striving for me to get better, we run routes together and work out everyday, he also pushes me at the defensive position by having to cover such a good receiver."
What are your goals regarding playing football in college?
"My goals regarding college football is to get a good education, I also look forward to competing on the next level with the athletes with that high of ability."
Who is currently recruiting you? Do you have any offers yet?
"I've been in contact with New Mexico, Utah, South Carolina."
Would you consider staying in state to play in college?
"Yes I would love to stay in state and play college football. NAU, ASU, UofA."
What would your top 5 college choices be?
"Ohio State, Air Force, Oregon, UCLA, University of New Mexico."
Who is the best player you ever played against? Why?
"The middle linebacker from Mountain Ridge, Spencer Hammitt. He was a great player and a very solid tackler, he made many plays on me that most other players wouldn't have."
Name one opponent who you really respect and why?
"The Hamilton Huskies, They are a well kept team. All of there players showed respect before, during,and after the game you don't find that with most teams."
What other sports do you play?
"I run track in the off season, I also spend time snowboarding, skateboarding, BMXing, and wake boarding during the off season."
What are your best max lifts in the bench, squat, power clean and 40 yard dash?
"My max bench is 265, squat is 395, power clean 245, and my 40 yard dash is a 4.44."
How do you think your coach would describe you as a player?
"My coach would describe me as a goofball outside of the pads but when i strap up it's all business."
What are your strengths and weaknesses as a player?
"My strengths as a player are my ability to read the hole, my speed, my quickness and burst, and my ability to break tackles and make the big play my team needs. My weaknesses aren't really shown on the field I try to give it my all every play."
Who is your favorite athlete and why?
"My favorite athlete is Nijah Huston, he is so focused when he skates and the hard work and effort he puts in every day is incredible, when he falls he gets up everytime and goes and goes until he lands the trick. His determination is outstanding."
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
"The more work you put in, the greater the reward is going to be."
Tell us what can we expect from your team this season?
"You can expect our team to play as one, we all love each other and we all strive to play as one instead of kids being the "star", you can expect the 2013 class of Jaguars to win state."
What position do you think you will play in college?
"I think I will play running back in college, if not that position a corner or safety, my speed and instincts on the ball really help out in all positions."
What is your GPA and SAT/ACT score?
"I have a 2.8 GPA, haven't taken my SAT/ACT."
What will the main factors be when you choose a school?
"The main factors for me chosing a school is how the environment is, I don't want a school with a bad vibe, I want a school who really wants me as a football player and a school that can count on me as I count on it."
