"I'm very excited to get back to football next season. I want to do better than I did last year. And I want my team to do better," he said.

And what is Jackson doing to make himself and his team better this off-season?

"My biggest goal is to get stronger, faster and smarter on the field. I've been doing cross-fit, weight-lifting and I've been trying to keep my grades up," he continued.

The sophomore is in the earliest stages of recruiting at this point. He's just looking forward to the chance to be in further contact with more programs.

"I haven't really went to any visits, but when I go to some, I'm hoping I find a good school. I'm not really talking to that many school as a sophomore, but I'm looking forward to talking to some," he finished.
